Due to the circumstances currently prevailing with the COVID-19, we have decided to cancel this year’s Benefit Gala announced for May 30, 2020 at the Montreal Science Centre. The health and safety of our families, patients, donors, volunteers and the community are paramount to our Association. The situation is continually evolving, and this cancellation is necessary to allow AAFQ to do its part in the effort required by all to help slowing down the spread of the COVID-19.
As you know, for the last 20 years, the annual Gala has been our main source of funding. To help us replace this considerable loss of annual income which allows us to deliver activities in support of patients and their families, we ask that you continue to assist us with your precious and generous donations.
Stay tuned for more information about our next benefit event that we hope to hold in the near future. You will understand that we are unwillingly dependent on the present and future impacts of VIDOC-19.
